About the Role:
As the Production Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all production operations. You’ll develop strategies, ensure quality, and lead a team to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage production schedules that meet company goals while optimizing resource utilization.
- Ensure strict adherence to cGMP (current Good Manufacturing Practices), SOP’s (Standard Operation Procedures) and safety protocols, fostering a culture of quality throughout the production process.
- Work closely with departments like Quality, Warehouse, Maintenance and Human Resources to ensure seamless operation and problem-solving across the board.
- Oversee inventory management, cost control measures, and participate in Bill of Materials (BOM) review and creation.
- Lead and develop a team of production personnel, providing training, mentorship, and fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Identify areas for improvement in processes and procedures, implementing changes to optimize efficiency and quality.
- Reviews production goals with team.
- Reviews assignments and production goals of production employees with direct reports.
- Conducts time studies of producing new products.
- Communicates with subcontractors for production needs.
- Conducts annual employee evaluations.
- Assists with making order changes in the event of a schedule change as needed.
- Reviews financial budgets related to the production department.
- Manages temporary employee timecards.

Essential Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in production management.
- Strong understanding of GMP and quality control principles.
- Proven track record of implementing and exceeding key performance indicators (KPIs) to achieve production goals.
- Adept at multi-tasking, prioritizing, and managing deadlines in fast-paced environment.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong computer skills.
